The Steeple Players theater group at First Congregational Church of Southington has performed socially-relevant musicals, dramas, and comedies for our congregation and community since 1998. We are a member ministry of the Board of Music & Arts, and welcome all interested people to participate either on stage or in a support capacity. We produce a minimum of two shows per year, challenging our audiences while providing first-class local entertainment. Our mission is to provide fellowship for our church family and outreach for our community. Please email us if you have any questions.
Set in 19th century France during a time political unrest, Les Misérables follows several stories that intertwine with the life of released prisoner Jean Valjean as he strives for redemption through good deeds and God, all the while struggling with haunts from his past. Our Steeple Players and this talented cast invite you to share the experience in their version of this amazing musical production, directed by Crystal Sullivan and produced by Nora Matthews. Due to subject matter, Les Misérables is intended for audiences 13 and older.
